Kyle Durr joined Arlington ISD in the Fall of 2014 for his second teaching position as a Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources teacher. Mr. Durr was recently the AFNR teacher and FFA Advisor in Burleson ISD. Kyle Durr graduated May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Secondary Education from Sam Houston State University. While in Huntsville, Mr. Durr was a member of the SHSU Collegiate FFA, Block & Bridle, and Chi Alpha organizations. He also participated in many intramural sports and worked as a shop assistant for the university art department.
Kyle Durr is an AHS Alumni from 2009 where he was very active in FFA, NHS, NTHS, MU Alpha Theta, & PALS. Mr. Durr participated in Spike-Fest as well as was the 4th runner up in the Mr. Colt Competition. In the Arlington High FFA chapter Mr. Durr found not only his love for teaching, but his high school sweetheart. Kyle & Whitney Durr were married in the summer of 2013 and they could not be happier. This is going to be a great year! Kick'em Colts!!!
