When I got into high school, I discovered agriculture and FFA and I have been hooked ever since! I love animals and showed market rabbits and lambs throughout high school. When I went off to college, I knew I wanted to have a career with animals and I still had a strong passion for FFA and the many opportunities it provides to students, so I knew taking on the job of an Agriculture Science Teacher would be the perfect fit. Through a series of events, I have ended up teaching floral design for the past seven years and discovered I have a natural talent for it and fell in love with the the creativity options of designing with flowers and the affect flowers have on people! For the past three years, I have also taught Horticulture Science. It is so fun to me to watch the process of how plants grow from seeds to full mature plants in gardens and landscapes! I love that I not only get to help students discover their potential through FFA, but I get the opportunity to give them hands on experiences to better prepare them for their career after high school!
