My name is Amanda Tryggvason and I teach the Veterinary Medical Applications and Practicum courses at the AISD Ag Science Center. I was born and raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School (kick 'em!). I was highly involved in agriculture and FFA throughout high school, and later attended Tarleton State University, graduating with a bachelors in Animal Science. After college, I worked in the large- and small-animal veterinary fields for two years before obtaining my teaching certification. I'm so excited to be teaching at the new Ag Science Center and to give students opportunities to learn in ways they haven't had before!
